Confirmation Sunday Sermon

http://www.mpumc.org/sermons-and-writings/sermons.cfm?sermonFile=/uploads/sermons/2011_05_22_ShaneSermon.flv&month=5&year=2011

I loved the sermon from this past Sunday at our church. I thought it was perfect for the young
teenagers that were professing their faith for Confirmation Sunday. I want to tuck this sermon
away for my boys when they get to be a little older! I know that before long I will be preaching to
them to forget what the crowd is doing. Be unique! Be Holy!

Such a fun morning out with Mar Mar

Easter with the Jenkins and Marlows

Aunt Allison helping the kids dye Easter Eggs

 Happy Easter!!!

I love this one of Brock running when he sees the Easter baskets!
Grant was a little confused at first but then he started collecting eggs too!
 and pulling the chocolate out

Trying really hard to get an Easter picture of the boys!

The grandchildren: Brock, Charlie, Addie, and Grant

Bloody Nose

I had to get a shot of Grant's first bloody nose. We were on the way out the door for a photo shoot for Britax. Grant had to wear a plain white shirt, and man was it hard to find a good clean white shirt for him to wear from all of Charlie's hand me downs. We finally found one; and I put it on him right before walking out the door. BAM! He fell! I walked around the corner thinking, great! we'll have a nice goose egg for the photo shoot. I was pleasantly surprised to see that he was fine. Not a mark from the fall! Then his nose started gushing! All over the white shirt! I hand washed the shirt and threw it in the dryer and ran Charlie over to preschool. We came back by the house to get the shirt. Grant and I drove in 75 degree weather with the heat blasting in the car to try to get the shirt complelely dry. I was pouring sweat by the time we got to The Green uptown. The photo shoot went great and they said they could photo-shop his nose if needed. In fact, they've already asked us to come back for some more shots! Ha!

YWBS Easter Egg Hunt

Grant LOVED the Easter Bunny, however, Charlie wouldn't go near him! Charlie calls the Easter Bunny, "Peter Cockentail." He has now mastered, "cottontail," because the other sounds kind of like a strip club!
