The Boys

The boys are ready to go with their backpacks on! I always have Charlie put on his packback when we are headed out the door and this time Grant decided he wanted his on too!
After church, we saw a couple of girl scouts selling cookies. We didn't want to be rude so we bought several boxes! I tucked them in a bag; and when we got back home, I just set them down at the front door. Next thing I know, Grant grabbed a box out and went running!
 Hanging out with Minnie Mae
This is how Grant likes to put on his ballcaps. He will pick up his, Charlie's and Daddy's hats all over the house and he always puts them on sideways. He looks like he is ready to throw some game shootin hoops!
What a precious little big boy tushie!!!
HA! While getting Grant dressed for the day and changing his diaper, I asked him if he wanted to go for a stroller ride outside. He shook his head yes, and I told him he'd have to find his shoes. He jumped up before I could get his diaper hooked or clothes on and went running to the door with his shoes. He knew he needed shoes on to go outside but could care less about the clothes!

Scrub a Dub Dub

The boys getting all cleaned up after lots of outdoor playtime!!!

Potty Trained!

Charlie has been potty trained for a little over a month. He surprised us so much at his success on the potty! We started out by counting down the diapers left in his room, and then I took him to Target to pick out his new big boy underwear and some potty prizes. We made a potty sticker reward chart to put on the bathroom door. For every five stickers, he would get to pick a prize. After a couple of days, we were (for the most part) accident free! Now he just goes all on his own, and he will tell me afterward what he made in the bathroom...Seriously, I don't know where he comes up with this stuff! Charlie sometimes makes some lemonade in the potty, other times he makes apple juice, water and even a teddy graham. HeeHee!
When we are outside playing he likes to go potty like Minnie Mae...

70s in February

The boys have had so much fun playing outside in this unusually warm February weather. They've had loads of fun with all of their outdoor toys. Charlie keeps asking if Frosty (the snowman he made in January) will be coming back, but when we went to the nature museum a couple of weeks ago the groundhog said no. So according to the little furry creature, we will have to wait until next winter to see Frosty again.
