I can't believe Grant is one! He brings so much joy to his brother, mommy and daddy!
I feel like every mother and father of a one year old should go out and celebrate; the first year is such a milestone! Grant is such a happy fellow. He constantly walks around with a beat in his head, and as soon as he hears music he breaks out his dance moves! The kid really loves to dance!!! Grant says a few words such as, "dada, momma, dog, ball, all done, byebye and hello." Other times he just points and babbles until we understand what he wants. He loves to play with trucks and trains and innately knows how to drive them on the tracks and make the vehicle sound effects. (or maybe it's from watching his brother) He recently began to follow one step commands like, "bring me your cup," "take off your socks" and "time for bath." When you ask him if he's ready for bed, he starts saying byebye and blowing kisses! During the day Grant is our little energizer bunny; he literally NEVER stops getting into stuff; however, if you want a fabulous hug, just open your arms up to him and he'll come running into them! It's the best!!!
